Student Societies Activity
Objectives :
- Encourage students to form student societies at the Institute.
- Support the societies’ activity to develop ties between students and members of the teaching staff.
- Coordinate among the activities of the different societies at the Institute.
About what was implemented :
- A group of students form a society and select one of the members of the teaching staff to be its guide; together with setting targets for the society and giving it a name under the supervision of the Youth Care Department.
- Run internal elections for each society separately under the supervision of the society guide (member of the teaching staff).
- Each society sets a plan for the activity separately in the manner that does not contradict the targets of the society, and seek its implementation.
- Organize various contests for competition among societies.
- Participate in all the contests of the activity subsidiary to the Societies Committee at the Ministry of Higher Education.
